About FILIGREE
FILIGREE( formerly written filigran) is a delicate kind of jewellery metalwork, usually of gold and silver, made with tiny beads or twisted threads, or both in combination, soldered together or to the surface of an object of the same metal and arranged in artistic motifs. It often suggests lace. Its use is rare in Egypt. It occurs in Cyprus at an early period, as for instance on a gold pendant in the British Museum from Enkomi in Cyprus (10th century BC). Our Story
Filigree is an old trade, which started to extinct in Macedonia a few years ago. I saw this opportunity as a chance to fulfill my long-time desire to go into the hand-made jewelry business and express my artistic nature by creating unique pieces of hand-made jewelry.
The education and experience gained at the Faculty of Art in Skopje only helps me to express my jewelry ideas, mixed with artistic passion in the best way possible.
Our Vision
Besides the usual jewelry items like rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc., I am slowly making a progress towards creating hand-made filigree items that have not been seen on our market so far and which would put a stamp of uniqueness to my business. For the time being, my products are available to the Macedonian market only, but I plan to broaden it to the wider audience by introducing Internet orders and sale.
